Not saying that there were no good puzzles, but. The environment is something that the levels are really generic. Its just a big factor that make the game more mainstream. It was good for his time if you dont involve mario64 controls in this, but required to rotate to move a direction or the slow gameplay overal make this game falls into the "tank controlls catergory"Īnother reason why this game was known is because girls with boobs. It was besides mario 64 one of the first 3d platformer games with a bit more flexible than most other platforms games during that time. I mean i get it that the game was familier back tin those days. it's just a pure magical experience and will always be my favorite Tomb Raider adventure <3 They have made an excellent job with the Remake, but still the original have a breathtaking strong vibes of atmosphere that suck you in completely. The feeling of discovering an ancient location that no other human being have stepped in for long generations:Īnd Let's not forget one of the best ways to die in any game: here hoping that a miracle happens and the series finds it's way back to it's original roots of gameplay and badass Lara Croft.
Tomb Raider was a unique franchise like nothing else in the market. the 10 years old me going from SENS to THIS a 3D epic adventure where you have a free controller over the character to explore freely the levels even UNDER WATER !!! This game was and still one of the biggest magical moments of my entire life.
This epic adventure of real isolation and tomb raiding in yet rarely to match sense of wonder in atmospheric locations and levels with nothing but brilliant soundtrack and iconic character that went beyond the gaming media to be a true inspiration for an entire generation.
